240 Plate Reverb
The 240 Plate Reverb brings the coveted plate reverb effect into an affordable pedal format! Using a large sheet of metal, one end of the 'plate' was excited by a transducer and the sound would then travel through the plate to the other side where the delayed tone was received, creating a 'reverb' effect in the process. Plate reverb is still used to this day but it was the go to reverb on many of the early 60's and 70's hit songs including most of Jimi Hendrix's music.
Controls
- DECAY - Controls the length of time it takes for the reverb effect to fade out.
- PRE DELAY - Sets the amount of time before the direct sound feeds the reverb. Adjustable from 0ms to 150ms.
- LIVELINESS - Controls the amount of high frequency reponse in the reverb signal. Higher settings yield brighter reverb while lower settings make the reverb warmer sounding.
- LEVEL - Controls the output level of the effect.
