v1.0 SALT LAKE CITY, UT, October 14, 2006 — DigiTech®, a leading manufacturer of guitar and bass multi-effects processors, and a Harman International (NYSE-HAR) company, unveils the DigiTruck, a 53-foot tractor trailer outfitted as the ultimate luxury tour bus and high-tech performance space all rolled into one. At noon today, the DigiTruck made its debut at the Guitar Center store in Salt Lake City, winning over its audience with a wealth of impressive features. The mammoth vehicle is fitted with all the trimmings any band would want on the road, including a swank lounge, full showers and sleeping areas. Also packed into this road warrior is the full line of DigiTech products, set up to display and demonstrate their own power as the DigiTruck makes its rounds across the United States, stopping at major MI retail chains and independent stores, carrying the message that DigiTech products can take any artist wherever they want to go.

The DigiTruck has a unique 22.5 X 80-foot stage that unfolds from the rear of the vehicle. This performance space is powered by a full array of Harman products to support live shows, including JBL Professional® speakers, AKG® microphones, Crown® amplifiers, and dbx® Professional Products, Lexicon Pro™ and BSS Audio™ sound and signal processing. When the DigiTruck rolls into town it puts on quite a show: DigiTech has assembled a band that includes John Corabi of Ratt and formerly of Mötley Crüe; Robbie Crane of Ratt; Teddy Zig Zag, formerly with Guns N’ Roses; Fred Coury of Cinderella; Joe Lynn Turner, formerly of Deep Purple and Rainbow; and Brent Woods of Wildside and Vince Neil’s Delisious Vinyl .

“We’ll be out all over the country spreading the love of DigiTech,” says Paul Muniz, Director of Artist Relations for DigiTech and the Product Specialist supervising the operations of the DigiTruck. “This is an elaborate marketing tool — one that gets the message across in an incredibly unique and powerful way, and gets mindshare as well as attention. Visitors will be able to experience DigiTech products in an up-close-and-personal way while also being treated to some great music by great musicians.” The DigiTruck’s schedule is currently being set and will be published on DigiTech’s website (www.digitech.com) so that fans will be able to connect with it and its shows. “This takes the equipment on the road and presents it in a way that musicians and fans can relate to,” adds Muniz. “The focus is on DigiTech products but all of the Harman brands experience collateral benefit from the exposure. The message is, DigiTech can take you where you want to go in your career.”

David Roher, DigiTech Guitar Market Manager, comments, “The DigiTruck showcases the exciting range of DigiTech and Harman products with an interesting and stylish take on an interactive display. Dealers benefit from a great new way to promote the product lines, and consumers get a clear image of the brand. We know the DigiTruck is going to make a big impression on everyone who gets to experience our new, state-of-the-art creation.”
