DIGITECH® INTRODUCES THE WEAPON™ EFFECT STOMPBOX CREATED FOR DAN DONEGAN OF DISTURBED

January 15th, 2004, Room 205A, Anaheim, CA – DigiTech, a Harman International Company (NYSE-HAR) is pleased to announce the introduction of The Weapon™, a stompbox designed in collaboration with Dan Donegan, guitarist for the multi-platinum band Disturbed.

DigiTech worked with Dan to design a pedal that would help him recreate his studio performances when playing live. The result is The Weapon, featuring seven of Dan's unique tones from songs like "Mistress", "Voices", "Bound" and "Stupify" in a limited edition DigiTech stompbox. More than just an average effect pedal, The Weapon incorporates effects like sitar simulation, phaser, reverb, dynamic autowah, Whammy™-quality pitch shifting, and features both Amp and CIT™ compensated Mixer outputs. Each limited edition pedal ships with The Weapon, a custom artist pedal gig bag, an authentic Dan Donegan guitar pick, and a pedal power supply. Dan Donegan stated: "DigiTech has recreated effects that I use in the studio and put them all in one compact pedal which makes the Weapon perfect for playing live." The Weapon will be shipping mid-February, and will be offered exclusively at DigiTech authorized dealers at a street price of $149.95.
